Company housing still outrageous

So is SE ever going to relieve the price cost of the housing? It's been out for a decent amount of time, the expected price drops have hit their bottom line, and the bottom line still isn't low enough.

Could we start seeing company housing costs drop more please? More on the medium and large plots. Small is fine where it's at.

Well, you can get all of the benefits of having a house from buying a small house.. but I think most are just waiting for personal housing.

Its fine. Considering I know a lot who can personally afford a medium and large is only 2x the price. Fc houses are meant to 40 - 100 people for mediums and larges.

yeah I think the prices are fine. It seems FC's of 30+ actives can easily afford a medium now. Our FC of only 5 actives bought two mediums (we leveled up a 2nd FC to buy the 2nd). its very reasonable now, just have to work at it.

I actually think the houses are fine for the most part now. Small ones are easily affordable, medium ones take a little bit of work, and the large is going to take either a ton of work from one person or lots of help. My main gripe when 2.1 hit was that even the small stuff was pretty over-priced given the size. Now they've increased the size and the prices are at rock bottom. Granted, most lots on my server are still completely empty (think we only have Ward 1 in any given area anywhere near full).. but I think lots of people are saving for personal housing now too.

There are a lot of gil fountains in the game now, even more than before. Crafting will get a lot of money from selling prisms and such, doing the new quests give a lot, the new HM dungeons gave me almost 5k each per run (on a tank almost 10k now). Between about 5 or 6 of us we purchased a Small about a month before the patch. Now they added the basement to the Small, which makes it quite reasonably sized imo.

Only people that put 0 effort into saving gil can still complain about the prices of S plots.

M and L? Yeah, you have to actually put some effort into earning those, but it's certainly not impossible. My FC with around 20 active members got an L plot.

My FC had originally wanted a medium plot, but after hearing about the basement, we decided to go ahead and get a small. We have about 10 active members and at first joked about saving up to upgrade, but now people are happy with the small FC house and would rather save for personal houses. I say if you think the prices are still too high, take a look at the medium and small houses and reevaluate if you really need as big of a house as you want. Even if you have a large Free Company, chances are that you're not always going to have everyone on at the same time, and even if you do have lots of people online, you're not all going to be in the house at the same time.
