Glamours and Gear Preview (03/20/2014)

To give the players who don't find something to do at level 50 something to do? ^^

If you cant find something to do you have serious issues. I have EVERYTHING to 50 DoL DoH included and still feel overwhelmed with things to do.. from pre patch 2.1...

Please enlighten us on the use of Odin's Armor then.

Not everyone plays the game just to get more gear to do more content to get more gear... some of us like to play video games. Some of us like to chat with people, some of us are completionist, some of us like to play solo, some of us like to craft and work the market only, some like only fishing, some ... i could go on and one.. People are different, so different content exists to try to even the slightest appease more of the crowd.

This Glamour system is useless. First of all its so damn limited. Cant use items that uses more than 1 slots and so on. Second you need crafting or need to rely on crafters. And for us that are not so hardcore on making money in games I guess this can be expensive.
Why not just choose a system that works. A extra tab in the character info screen with custome and all gear slots where you can put customes. And options if u wanna show or not show the gear on ur character at all. Then it also had been alot easyer for using odin armors as costume and so becouse they have armors that uses more than one slot.
Very bad choice with this glamour system. Why not use a system that already works than making a "new unique" system that is totally useless.

Only in the first week. Mats cost are normally around 300-400 gil. The prices will drop in the MB.

I'd like to know if developers are going (or this may be a suggestion) to include an option that allows you to hide the equipment reshaped of all players. The equip style, before the introduction of Glamour, showed a serious gameplay and suited to the setting, cities, npc and so on. Now there are paladins fighting Ifrit HM in swimsuits and this does not do justice to the epicness of the game.
Are you going to introduce an option that allows to disable Glamour globally? This could a be good thing for players who want to see everyone's equipment as it is supposed to be.

I should have given up on the artistic continuity of the gear the day we got Ifrit weapons.
Now we have tutus with tophats. I don't even know anymore.
