Zodiac Weapon Fates

It took myself 12 hours to get all 12, and a friend of mine 14 to get all 12. It's the players choice but I know many people are planning to do say 2 a day. That's 6 days. Obviously many did it first day but it definitely takes patience. Stick on netflix, read a book. I definitely think it takes persistence, but I also don't think the current rate is impossible. I also think the other benefits of this are very apparent. Fates of all levels are getting done, and done quickly. I had many players following our fate trains in various zones to level it up. It also promotes capping GC's which could be an absolute pain post dungeon exp enhancements.

To answer some questions:
Central la noscea is middle la noscea
Lower la noscea can be a pain as the fates felt very lacking in spawning
You have to attain gold to have a chance at the atma
Two indicators pop if you receive it so make sure you're paying attention, and occasionally check your inventory just in case

Once the atma is completed:
Once its completed your trial of the braves start-
Your weapon at this point is ilvl 100 but with the same attributes and an altered skin
9 books at 1500 myth per book (total of 13,500 myths) is required to unlock weapons full potential (This is how I understood the next portion when i picked it up)
As you complete each book you raise stats - another inference as I havent finished my first book yet.

Ok honestly to you people calling everyone out for wanting a longer progression path to the "ultimate weapon" we didnt mean hey level cap us at lvl 7 and make us zerg fates. It just makes sense for it to revolve around lvl 50 and above things not lvl noob.

IF they said hey guys were releasing our hardest content yet (if you are over lvl 10 your level will be synched.) that wouldnt make any sense. Im all for a grind give us a huge hunting log of instance monsters when you complete x you get a atma. But fates? And lvl 7 ones at that? Seriously? Dont kid yourself zero people asked for this.

There has been a lot of information in this thread about what FATEs people have had the most success on, but what jobs are people using who are having success? I farmed FATEs for 4 hours last night as BLM and got nothing. I doubt it but maybe some jobs are having an easier time in general with the RNG gods like in coil how there seemed to be certain gear that dropped almost every time.

Work for yes. Zerg low level things? How is that working for anything but boredom.
Explore yes. Zerg low level things? How is that exploring when you are casting blizzard 2 over and over and over. Man dem explores.

Actually it doesn't. Especially for those who explored the world already while leveling.

Step 2 of the Zodiac is what we want in terms of working for something.
Add new FATEs or make weekly ingame treasure hunt quests, with the chests randomly placed around the world to give us a reason to explore. Too bad we already have treasure maps for this (never had one myself).
I'm not sure how the Zodiac works entirely, but giving us full control over the 2ndary stats would allow us to specialize ourselves.

I've been fating for 11 1/2 hours since the patch was released, with zenith equiped and with the quest in my log, didnt get the drop of central thanalan. I dont know if, by now, I am just bugged or extremely unlucky. But i can tell for sure that this quest is extremely hilarious and i won't do it as long as the droprate isnt fixed. Rather go farming leviathan X for a good weapon than do this crap for hours and hours and get nothing out of it.
