Ow? Did you get the 12 Atma Stones already? Nice! (^_^ )-b I’m on 3/12 myself. But, could you tell me more about these books? Is it true that you need to buy several books, each costing 1500 Myth tomes to get?

If so, how many books do you need for the quest? And what do you have to do for them?
I’ve tried reading up on it on the forums, but i see some contradicting reactions. (And also, curiosity killed the Miq’ote, so thank the Twelve i have White Mage / Scholar friends… (^_~ ) )

The Books will cost you 1500 Myth and you need a total of 9 Books, which includes several things you have to complete. ( 7/2 for PLD Sword/Shield ). So it is basically a total of 13500 Myth.

EDIT: Each Book will add Stats to your Atma Weapon, until its finished into Animus. So i.e. Book 1 gives STR+2, Book 2 gives VIT+2 ( just example numbers )

Well, some people have all the luck in Hydaelyn, so i wouldn’t really surprise me if a handful of people got all 12 Atma Stones already. Hehehe.

Hmmm. Sounds to me like i made a good choice, going for the Zodiak weapon upgrade. I like the sound of completing task from books to get an incremental upgrade for your weapon. All the more reason for me to get those 12 Atma Stones this weekend. (^_^ )-b

Do you have any idea where you can get those books? Do you need to purchase them from Rowena?

I should be able to get 1500 Myth tomes this weekend (i have about… Um… 1000 Myth tomes atm i think).
