Party formation for Duty Finder, really?

Excuse me if i'm missing something but are we now required to form a party prior to queueing for Coil 1-5, Moogle and Leviathan Extreme?
Way to go SE, setting it up so JP can exclude E and vice versa from parties.
This to me defies the purpose of a Duty Finder.

Read the patch notes, please. It says it's only for a week or two.

"a week or two" is not specified here. Could you please point me to this in the patch notes?
This seems to only apply to Coil 1-5, not Extreme Leviathan/Moogle.

i was very surprised to see this too.
it is baffling to me why they would wall of content and segregate the already dwindling community even more like this. you cant even get practice on your own time like previously when you had a much biger pool of players to qeue with. now you get to choose only from your server.

there wasnt even an explanation of why this was done.
i see more people leaving over blunders like this

This seems to only apply to Coil 1-5, not Extreme Leviathan/Moogle.

In the preliminary patch notes (before 2.2 release) it said DF would open up to solo queue after two weeks.

So much QQing in this thread, with all due respect. You are supposed to play this game with the people on your "Server" in your world basicly. And not duty find your way through the content with people from JP or USA with extra buffs because you can't clear the content. Stop being so entitled all the time. Just play the game and if you can't clear the content because you can't find a fc or a group of friends. Then you failed. You won't see all the raids, there is plenty to do besides coil or leviathan in this game. be a beter and more mature gamer and stop feeling so **** hurt all the time. PEACE!

there is absolutely no excuse period, for these new primals to be locked out of df seeing as the old ex primals arent.
df is supposed to be there to practice such content.
now they took away that ability with no warning nor an explanation. its just completely asinine
also im not even in the jp server pool im in the us so there goes that pety argument of yours out the window.

They didn't "take away" anything as the new primals were never available in DF before now.
I don't know why they chose to do it this way, but I'm not going to cry about it.

The EX Primals were always DFable. The reason for these ones and Coil being full party only temporarily is likely so they can throttle things until they know their new hardware configuration is working. Forcing premades takes a load off the matchmaking system. Oh and DF is not for practice. People with that mindset are why DF parties are nightmare.
