chocobo porters.......not just for the big yellow birds anymore

I use choco porter all the time. =D I have a chocobo, a giant eye bat guy, and a tiger.

why do I use a porter? because sometimes I like to sit back and let the choco do the running.

Can get there faster with a teleport and just afk. Also Porters have limited travel locations. Most of them just ride you in a direction for 3-5mins.

When I was doing the Relic quest I would use the chocobo porter to the mill which can't be ported to. Plus gave me time to make my sandwich! Dem airship sandwiches I miss them. lol

i use porters to sight-see. it's a lot easier when you don't have to focus on moving.

im also a penny pincher, I could have 2k or 200k, 90% of the time, ill spend 5-50 gil for a porter rather than 100-500 for a telly

^ This all the way. If I find myself in Uldah, but need to go Vesper Bay, I'll hire a porter that takes me there for about 30 gil, on a 2 minute trip. Where as if I used the teleport system I would have to port to Horizon, spend more money, AND still travel with my own mount to the location I want.

With porters I can spend less money and get myself a snack, take a bathroom break, or play on my iphone. It's good to take a break from the game every once in a while, and the porter reminds me of this everytime I use one.
