seems reasonable to me. the crafted i70 took significantly more philo too.

meh, they only cost Myth tomes so I'm sure I'll get the full healer set for Vanity purposes. Not like it costs anything but time.
Can anybody confirm if the ilvl 90 crafted gear can be slotted? Because on xivdb they showed no slots at all. Very paranoid right now.
The body and head require 1300 myth tomes, the head/hands/feet require 800, and the belt 650.
The bought gear costs 825/495/375 myth tomes for the same pieces.
They can be melded to better than the bought ilvl90 gear.
Tanks share this crafted gear, healers share this crafted gear, casters share this crafted gear. Except for the belts, this isn't true for the bought myth items.
Which piece? The first one I pulled up at random had 2 materia slots:

These crafted armor are a waste of time, i had my BLM full vanya pentameld and your reward for that is having difficult to join a party finder because of low item level. I wont make a high level crafted gear anymore.
I'm still going to work for a full set of crafted gear. I want it badly.
Vanya gear was useful and relevant before 2.1 when people didn't have much myth gear, ilevel checks came after 2.1 you were just late on the train.
It will be useful in the early weeks and it costs something comparable to what i70 gear cost back in the first couple of months. It will be valuable for progression, people yearned for hard to make and valuable recipes and when we get them we get a complain thread to the contrary. I hope the devs take everything they read here with more than a grain of salt.
Thanks my mobile is not acting right with xivdb and couldn't tell.Which piece? The first one I pulled up at random had 2 materia slots:

Yoshi-P did say that but, if you compare a HQ'd and fully materia'd item to it's dropped equivalent item at the same level, you'd see that it wasn't absolute. Yoshi-P could have easily been referring to the basic state of a crafted item (IE, NQ with no materia).
But yea, evidence and logic are overrated! In any rate, it was also said that crafted items would never be the cutting edge raiding gear. This remains to be true because i90 items are the new darklite. They are the bare minimum to enter the new raids.
