nope zodiac are completely new weapons

as normal relics and zenith can be discarded by 2.2

i hope OP isn't right. Seeing how T5 now has an ilvl requirement of i82 and levi HM has a requirement of i60, it would be very disconcerting if they dropped the same level weapon.

To put in more light, just think about this, if a person, does indeed need to the Levi Weapon i95 to do the HM primals to unlock coil, I REALLY DOUBT, they'd be good enough to clear T9 with an i95 weapon. I mean come on, if a person can't beat Titan HM to unlock coil and needs an overgeared weapon for it, then I can pretty much guarantee that said person won't be able to clear T9 till a nerf happens.


On a side note, my assumption is, Levi HM drops the i95 weapon and Levi EX drops a catalyst that will make the Levi Weapon i100.

Check the notes. there's an i95 leviathan weapon (likely from leviathan hm) Then there's an i100 leviathan weapon (Likely ex leviathan) As for the guy who said your relic is useless, you need a zenithed weapon to start the zodiac questline.

Someone who didnt read the Patch notes at all. Up in Arms is the start of Zodiac.

* To accept the quest ”Up in Arms”, players must first complete the quest "A Relic Reborn" with any Disciple of War or Magic, and be equipped with a Zenith relic weapon.

Additional quests for the Saga of the Zodiac Weapons will follow in subsequent updates, allowing players to progressively increase the strength of their relic weapons over time.

I'm intrigued what the leviathan HM and EX mechanics are. Even though Ifrit is the last of the extremes we face, I still have to lean toward Titan EX being the hardest simply because of his mechanics being the least forgiving and can't be cheesed as much going with a full ranged dps group like Garuda and Ifrit.

I hope that Leviathan won't also fall under the "don't bring more than one melee dps" that's still fairly freqeuent to see with Garuda Ex and Ifrit Ex.

Levi EX is going to drop the weapons. Why are people saying HM will? There will be an upgrade path to make your i95 into an i100.
