I think the problem here is that they did give us a time and date. Musketeer was scheduled for 2.0 launch, then it became a "Please look forward to it!"

It was never scheduled for launch, only Arcanist was (and Summoner was going to be in 2.1 but was added at launch).

As of 2013 it was no longer on the agenda. I think it's safe to assume that it won't be coming soon.

I dont see any post from you in page 1. You do have a post on page 2 that is just a quote from a dev mentioning that there is a musketeer guild. He doesnt actually confirm when it'll come or if its even planned for launch.

Actually follow the link to that post I quoted. The word is not "guild," but "class." Specifically, "classes in A Realm Reborn." The number of posts per page is a setting we choose, not my fault if yours is turned down.

Pretty much says it all..

A lot of people posted questions about musketeer in the questions to the producer live letter thread and it got blown off.

Just say hey were not doing it and let the people that are sticking around just for that class cancel already.

The scope of the live letter was 2.2-

Musketeer has not been announced as part of 2.2 content.

Just because it wasn't in the letter doesn't mean it isn't coming. Yeesh.

No point in whining about it... I'm 99% certain Musketeer won't be released until 3.0, and that 1% is for it being released in a patch close to 3.0. So 1 year until you can even start looking forward to it....

They have to create quests, balancing, gear etc... not just the class in it self. The guild house is a tiny part of it's development. All that takes time, and I think they are starting fresh with it's development...

It's much more likely that new jobs will be introduced to the game before the expansion. That's at least, a lot less content to make.
