The new Allagan set of items needs to have a small customization option.

It's fine if you can do T1 in i90, but you shouldn't be able to do T7+. I always see the first turn as a taster to make you want to do the rest, if you can do the first turn but not the next, you will sure as hell grind up your gear to be able to do it.

People have stockholm syndrome when it comes to FFXIV/FFXI. Instead of wanting things to get better they think everything is fine and praise SE for their flawed design.

We're going to have to wait and see what happens with the new i110 gear. Hopefully you'll be allowed to customize the stats otherwise I can't see how they're going to please anyone. Especially when healers, casters, and tanks have to share the same set of gear. In most cases secondary stats aren't that important but maybe now that we're moving up 20 item levels they will be more significant? I would love to see them either allow customization or give us tokens to exchange for gear and there are 2-3 pieces with different stats on them we can "buy". That would be easiest way to please people.

It will be my vanity gear with CT legs and Allagan shoes. So it'll be fine. Plus more concerned with progression now than gear.

And to person who said skill > gear. Yes, but here's to hoping turns after 6 are tuned above 90. If turn 9 ends up being tuned to only 100 it'll probably be cleared in a week or two. If tuned higher gear will matter for clearing DPS checks.

As you can see in the DF requirements for T1-5, T5 is designed for iLvl 82 and the first legit kill took a little longer than one week or two. I think T9 could be iLvl 102.
