Housing? Confused.

I see alot of people say player housing will be cheaper when it arrives. Is current housing meant to be purely FC housing even if you can afford it alone? (Amazing if you can I Feel so poor). Which means are we supposed to get cheaper player homes later or? I am confused.

It's supposed to be much, much cheaper but I'm keeping an open mind on that. I'm expecting them to be pretty high still.

I can agree, I mean have they said what the main difference will be in size and such? Or one size for all? Cause if you could get a large house cheaper whats to stop FCs from buying those. Maybe I am over complicating things. Have they said how long till we are supposed to get player homes?

Those specifics remain unknown to the playerbase...and pretty much anything related to it lol Hopefully they will give us something to go on soon.

I just hope they will add new wards for FC and not just for individual housing. my FC is small and there aren't many FC plots left to buy. By the time we'll have the money they will be all taken..

I doubt well need millions of gil. Yoshi literally said personal housing is going to be much cheaper. Small houses are only 2 mil on Legacy servers now. I doubt personal housing will be the same price. Then again, beast tribe mounts are currently 120,000 gil. How much is the dog house for that mount going to be; let alone a human house.

I hope that instead of separate wards for player housing, that they somehow incorporate using the FC house. Like having a door that accesses a personal area. That way, it will give people their own private area but still keep things communal.

And if you have no FC? Or your FC has no house? There are far more FC's without houses than with even the smallest of houses. Although part of that is the playerbase and their inability to use FC's properly.

On topic, they said Personal housing will be at least 6 months after FC housing (so 2.3 at the earliest) and be considerably cheaper than FC housing. However with how grossly messed up the FC housing was, I'm still expecting it to be over priced. At least by then I can say I tried. With the newest live letter, Yoshi-P finally broke my will with the briefest of mentions to personal housing now q_q
