[DEV] Will SE do another overall survey of the whole player base?

Nothing is ever set in stone, everything is set in sand because often decisions need to be changed. eg: the MINORITY forum whingers who got the 360 Veteran rewards changed. Only a short sighted business sets their decisions in stone the rest set them in sand because they know outside forces can and usually will impact on said decisions. I would however like to see a survey about all our questions but I wonder how effective it would be because by limiting the responses they allow us for each question they can manipulate the results to suit themselves.

I agree, and I would think if they would change something as silly as a Veteran's reward, they would want an HONEST opinion of what people think of this game and what they would like to see. Or even what they are not liking, etc... I honestly feel like the big issues are totally overlooked or ignored, while stuff that really doesn't effect the game in a major way is delt with and fixed almost instantly.

And as myself and many have pointed out, the majority of the game that actually comes to the forum is much smaller that the percentage that plays the game. They can't base all of their decisions for this game off this small percentage. I would also like to know:

Would players like crafting to have more of an endgame presence?
Will Musketeer be coming out on or before the next expansion release?

and while this isn't a real 'poll question' I would like to know:

Will SE ever put out a stat reset scroll for chocobo's for those who accidentally put stats in multi-classes before realizing they could only specialize in one? (I have multiple friends stuck due to this and there being NO way to reset it! Yet it seems that they have time humor people who think that getting something for free isn't enough and they deserve more free stuff. >.< )

My suggestion would be to make the survey in game, possibly a NPC in Mor Dhona who asks questions and you can submit a response. That way the results could be tallied by player account and allow PS3 and PS4 players to access it in game.

I for one would love to see the difficult content remain difficult (stop nerfing dungeons because people cry they are too hard), an increased presence for crafting in the endgame, and some ultra long-term goals (Zodiac weapons might have this) that would possibly take a year or more to complete.

As far as cash shops go, I would be mixed on that. Selling a Fantasia potion for $0.99 would be fine in my opinion. That could even be super handy if they come out with new playable races in the future. But anything that costs money should not alter the mechanics of the game. I feel it should only be for vanity purposes.
