Amazing how some people think everything revolves around them.
Amazing how some people think everything revolves around them.

I can totally see the other side of the coin. My only solution I can think of that helps both is have this 35day revoke leadership be a setting on by default when 2.2 is released. If your leader does not log on and address these settings then yes! by all means revoke!. Otherwise this is going to end up destroying alot of peoples hard work.On a different note I was in a FC at the start whose FC leader left the game on that character it seems. Anyway I had to break away with everyone and make a brand new FC. Pain and you lose all that you worked for to that date. I can sympathize with what players in a leaderless FC are going through.
My FC will revolve around my interests and that of my friends. Since 90% of the work put into it has been done by the two of us ALONE. And up until a month ago that was the case.
Your FC can revolve around whatever interests you like, however SE did not design the FC system to revolve around two person groups with apparently zero trust in others who only log in every other month.
Free companies are not meant as a means of letting someone personally buy expensive individual housing. They're meant to be the foundations of player groups and larger communities within the game and will be built upon the idea that one or two people not logging in for a month will not cause the total and utter collapse of the group.
Free Companies were never designed to be for a single person. It's not a personal bank to store things in. It's not a one-man house to show off. It's not a daily self-buff device. Yes, it can certainly be used that way and there's nothing wrong with that. However, this update improves the quality of life for Free Companies that are using FC's correctly. Your "solo FC" lifestyle choice is fine but that doesn't mean you can demand SE to support your choice by making sure the systems they implement don't inconvenience your way of playing.
You're afraid of losing all of your "personal" property when it's supposed to be "group" oriented content to begin with.
