Not seeing the problem. I've been in a few LS and FC's and not one of them was rude to anyone, or ignored them, based on level. (Might I add it takes 2-3 weeks to max from fresh).

Have you ever entertained the thought that it may not be a 'you' problem but a 'me' problem?

If you think FCs have a bad community.... avoid DF. And PF. And an internet connection. And probably the public in general.

make your own. set the atmosphere/mandate yourself. problem solved. if i were in 20 FCs by now, i would tend to think i was the common denominator. from the looks of it, you are not a good fit for a 'endgame' FC. from your post OP, i would think you would fit more into a 'casual', 'crafting', or even 'RP' FC.

It may be your server too, I don't know. On Coeurl, at least, there are a number of very new-player friendly FC's out there. I see them helping new folks all the time, and those that have come to us from there have always spoken very highly of them. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but there are great FC's out there that help new folks each and every day.

A part of me does sypathize with your plight as people tend not to scratch your back if you don't scratch their's first. But that's life friend, you give a little and hope to whatever you believe in to get a little, and if not, move on. Truly social FCs do exist but you just have to look... hard. It's like real life as most truly helpful/selfless people are either, already taken up with others, jaded thus not nice anymore, or accepted into sainthood by their local religious institution! lol. Seriously though, I hope you fiend people you can jive with.

This ^ and I don't know if anyone else agrees, I get the feeling sometimes that people who prefer those things really are in the minority nowadays. Just my opinion, based on my own experiences in-game and on other mmo's, and from what other people have said to me...but yes, make your own FC, or even better post in your server's forum with your FC requirements!

I run my FC as a Raiding/casual shell we take alot of people for their first coil runs, we haven't cleared T5 ourselves due to us helping newer players along but that's fine.

I just like my FC to be filled with nice people, hell I'll even invite hardcore raiders who have their own statics (But not a FC) I think a shell is great if it has a diverse community within it. Having a singular goal is great and all but as far as endgame goes so far it's counter productive to have alot of people in a FC aimed at coil due to the lockout making it so people get "Measured" and "Left out" more often than they should be.
