I think if the dungeons are put in to be an additional source for SP that it doesn't matter if they are capped or not. r50s will be more inclined to run the dungeons at appropriate levels so they can gain the SP on jobs that need it.Capped, Yes please. But ... we don't really know what exactly is coming up and what these dungeons will be like nor what SE intends them to have for a function. If these dungeons are meant to replace part of the SP we gain through leves, cap would be kinda pointless... as already suggested by prior posts maybe level sync in that case ?
I voted for capped because I remember how much fun I used to have running through capped missions, BCNM, COP and mostly because of how boring COP got once it was uncapped. This is of course a personal preference which may change once the update is out and we discover that SE has had a totally different idea of what the function of Toto-Rak and Dzemael should be ...
If they are solely for SP purposes, cap would still give more options to everyone when it comes to making their party setup BUT leaving it uncapped would not matter much if it was only and solely SP purposes which I don't think it will be.
If they are then it's fine, but I hope that when they come and add content like story-missions and boss fights (like Ifrit) that they put in caps.
I would agree that I hope missions and quests that progress a story are capped. But in my eyes, there is no need for it on a dungeon like this.If they are solely for SP purposes, cap would still give more options to everyone when it comes to making their party setup BUT leaving it uncapped would not matter much if it was only and solely SP purposes which I don't think it will be.

Yup, at least we agree on some points :P Why SE or a rep can't give us straight answers on the matter to quell those debates. Would be doing everyone a favor.
I agree, as from what we know so far it probably will be another SP ressource. Still, as a personal opinion, I believe that leves and hopefully a future better possibility to party in order to gain SP are sufficient means of leveling. Leveling isn't really a problem in FFXIV atm, but the lack of content and things to do, no matter what level you are, is. Limiting a content to a small range of levels (25-35?) just simply limits the people you are gonna keep busy with it and for how long. Not even to mention the difference in challenge when you are able to just run through it with a level for which it wasn't designed.
Again, since we don't really know and we just interpret the scarce information we have, it's really hard to say what Toto-Rak and Dzemeal will end up being and if a discussion about cap or no cap is actually relevant for that matter. Let's just hope the next update holds up to the expectations, and if they make it another SP gain possibility, don't cap it and make it something good by other means, I surely don't mind changing my opinion.
