If your number was the large majority, SE would have reacted. But with that not being the case, this is just another childish discussion/ topic in these forums.
Uld'ah skilling in the city
Colors in my screen getting spammy and silly
Raging, isn't it a pity
Only seem to be trolls in the city
Only skilling, in the city. Only spamming, in the city.
/just had to do this, the music popped in my head xD
Yeah cause spamming an useless skill which annoys way more people than you see post on here is so mature...
If spamming these useless skills is your way of having fun, I'm sure there's a lot cheaper ways of doing so.
When did I say that I don't do anything else the whole day? I don't do it everyday and I'm sure nobody does. It's just nice to do something else apart from coil and ex primals all day long.
Holy hell how did I not see this?
BEGONE you asshats who spam that god awful sounding DRG AOE ability that prevents me from wearing headphones!
Yep. This right here.

It's always the Ring of Thorns and Holy in Ul'dah.
I don't mind it once or twice, but spamming it constantly over a period of time... people must have no creativity to lull that boredom.
I see crafting sounds as natural sounding the city, along with footsteps and the "random human interaction" voices.
But skill abuse is annoying as hell.
They could make those skill non usable soon as you enter the "rested bonus exp areas".
Goodbye, Final Fantasy...
Actually, it got posted before where someone got reported for spamming skills (it was an RP server, and they got paid by people to do it), and the person got pulled aside and a warning was given. That's some things you really cannot compare. In the neighborhood you can simply call the police, however in the game no GM will do anything against people who spam skills. Why should they?
As I stated before, just mute the sound or as some others suggested, turn off the animation. You won't see or hear anything you don't like for whatever the reasons may be anymore, we can have our fun, everyone is happy.
It's nothing else than almost naked Miqo'te girls dancing in groups. What's the difference if it's an RP server or not? I'm on Gilgamesh myself.
I honestly find the constant sounds of crafting all around the Aetheryte Plazas (and in every other corner everywhere) in every single starting city as annoying as hell, but I haven't said anything about it because in reality, why does it matter?
You can turn off sound and animations for other players, so I'd just suggest doing that since complaining about it on the forums isn't really going to do anything to change the player behavior.
Also, some people spam skills because they're bored and are having fun while queuing for DF or other stuff. Its no more or less obnoxious than hearing constant crafting sounds everywhere. Like, I spam different heals when I get new gear in order to see what my heal range is, as well as what my Crit Heals are hitting. (Granted, I generally walk outside of Revenant's Toll to do it, but still.)
