What happen is easy.
You need then the new relic weapon to get a place in a ex primal party. I guess after day 2 or 3

Good question. It would be nice if they remained valid, but since the vast vast vast majority could not kill titan/ifrit EX, I doubt they will make current extreme primals mandatory for any future content. This game is for casuals. If I have it right....these were added for the hardcore players to have a challenge. Which you got. Now move on...

Except Yoshi felt that Relic weapons were too easy to get so maybe this time around, they'll add more challenge to it. It's a great feeling when I got relic for the first time and I'd like to experience that again even if it means I have to beat Leviathan EX, unlike Relic Zenith.

that would be easy, isnt it ? a decent amount of ppl (community) have only got 9 weps or are already farm it weekly, so for those ppl to kill garuda, titan, irfrit EM for relic upgrade it will not be a challenge

Except back in december for 2.1 there were only 10% of players with even only one relic. That's so easy people are unable to do it heh ?

And where exactly do you get this number from? I don't have the source but I remember in one of the interviews, YoshiP said that relic was a bit more common than they expected it to be. I got my first Relic in October and at that time, it was still rare on Leviathan, a non-Legacy server so I imagine on Balmung, a Legacy server, it'd already be more obtainable.

It was in an interview somewhere... Yoshida was surprised taht so few people had beaten Titan HM, which he didn't consider as a hard fight. That's also why they reduced server latency from 0.3 to 0.1 second, to ease the fights with heavy AoE avoid-or-die reliance
