360 Day Veteran Reward - Aetheryte Ticket

50 consumable Aetheryte tickets it pretty much worthless; making it unlimited would be a bad idea. I rather it be changed to a reward that doesn't have an in-game monetary value and cannot be traded.

Because those of you "pissed off/disappointed" at something SE doesn't even have to do is getting silly now. Did you forget you're paying to play a video game, not paying to see what you get monthly as a reward?

You do realize your sub fee grants you..quite a lot of stuff, right? SE should have never offered veteran rewards, this is exactly what happens.

A free gift for a paid subscription? You don't get the reward without paying, thus it isn't "free".

You pay to play the game, the veteran reward is just an extra the developear give or the veteran reward is what make you play?

Wow, so you get 50 free teleports, which could save a total 20-20k gil, depending on location and level. Additionally, you can choose when to use them. I think that is a great reward for people. And who knows that this doesn't balloon into a type of reward for something else, not just 360 day reward.

That's not comparable and it ignores the fact you obtained multiple mounts either by buying the game or being subbed for a period of time, e.g Coeurl, Ahriman and Behemoth. so you already got your "comparable in-game items" for a vet reward. In-game =/= optional sub rewards you get from this program. If you subbed for 1 year, that's your reward, you subbed to a game you like, you don't need additional handouts lol. I don't care THAT much for XIV, but I feel bad for SE that no matter what they do, they'll always end up with people wanting more handouts if they try to do something nice.

Tell me, where do I buy aetheryte tickets in game? I want to know so I can stock up and not spend gil every teleport for awhile, since we're comparing in-game item costs and all, where are they offered?

Clearly people have different perceptions of the value of 20-30k gil. I would have thought that to most people, particularly those who've been playing for a year, it's pocket change.

Why reward players with what is essentially a very small amount of free money?
