I hate when the guys think their character have to be a "ideal" representation of her Manliness...
And, I love Anime and Female Characters, and as you can see my character is modeled after Ayanami Rei from Evangelion... :3

Perhaps weird, but I consider myself to be spiritually/mentally both genders. I'm physically male in real life but if I could change genders at will I would very much so likely swap between them from time to time!
I can't do that, but I can play female characters in games to express that side of myself more as I'm forced to be always male in real life.
Beyond that, I do also tend to think female characters often have better options in terms of character creation as well.
That's exactly the kind of humor note the topic needed, hahahaha!
Agree, that's sometimes the most annoying thing of playing with a female char. For example sometimes I'm lazy and don't speak... (Maybe this is wrong, because sometimes I just run dungeons as tank without even commenting tips for bosses, except if first-doing it people.) But when a dude starts like that and the situation becomes a little awkward I'm forced to leave my laziness away and write for claryfing the things. (Only when they do reference to player, not character at all, in which's case I don't mind at all). The lone time I tried to play a female in an MMO, guys would flirt with me. And not that I'm homophobic or anything, but I got tired of saying "I'm a dude" every time some random player or party member would start flirting. Plus, I'm the type of gamer that plays MMOs as if my character were me. I realize this isn't exactly on topic, but I figured I'd post anyway.

Well, that's because it is. Not that unusual. That kind of fashion was all the rage for guys not too long ago.
Heh, my fiance bemoans this all the time. Poor guy. xD

My alts and retainers are female, I prefer playing as a male though

MMORPG = Mostly Men Online Role Playing Girls
That being said as a gamer I always roll a male avatar first then a female just so I can have the full options of armor looks for any game that allows for character customization (this game is no exception). Keeps things refreshing and I always make my male avatars melee and my female ranged/heals so I always have a different game experience.
Well, SE severely limited the male options for facial and body hair. So I figured, if my character has to look like a woman, it might as well be a woman.
Does Bard high level equipment look so weird in males? Thanks god my char is female. (Can anyone post image of that gear in males?.... Or maybe not, I would just need to go ingame and visit Revenant Tolls where all the super pros seem to gather and check for bards)
Gaming needs more female protagonists. This is one way I can contribute to that. Show devs that gamers will play as female leads and maybe they will create more games with them.
