I can't envision matchmaking neways. If morale is invalid on 30 and 40 how much more "matched" can you be. The only way you can seperate ppl into classes is those who have 0 experience, those who don't have enough points to have skills, those who have skills, and those who have reached r30. New people complain and leave because they find it unfair because they enter pvp and get zerged in less than 2 mins. They're not used to it and don't understand it (since they probably haven't read up on pvp or noticed the skills you can obtain). Thus the most easy thing to do when frustrated with this is to say it's unfair or unbalanced. I have a perfect example for you. Post by Oddbod. Beat down. Clueless about the system. Blame the system.

I really feel like this does scare off a lot of people because I don't think people even understand what morale does. I've run into a ton of dps in dungeons that are wearing wolf accessories because they don't even know that morale is a pvp stat.

Agreed. An in depth tutorial npc would be good i think.
