Ah the good old days where people actually had to be competent and dedicated enough to get the best items in the game.

If the "old times" are the ones in which the only rewarded people were the nolifers that keeps logged 24/7, maybe sharing the same account between friends, and the "normal" people who have a life and job were left out in toto and cannot even dream about that rewards, I am very happy that times had an end, and welcome FFXIV.
