Guess this one went over your head....
The point is that it's an extremely petty graphic glitch and that apparently some people's favorite past time in this game is to ram the camera into the crotch of female models instead of playing the game. I would much rather see the game developers focus on far more important problems like the constant barrage of RMT tells that outpace the blacklist.
Also, real life girlfriends are much more fun than virtual dolls.

It's a glitch, it was reported, so what? There are types of people who look there, it's a weird place to focus on, but so what? Some guys play as female characters solely because they don't want to be staring at a (potentially more muscular or more masculine looking than the person) male character the entire time and would rather stare at a virtual girl's ass instead.
The person who found the glitch may or may not be perverted, but it is a legitimate graphical glitch.
And sort of off topic, but one of my friends showed me this a while back lol. You're gonna get people who look there anyway, no need to complain when you see it. Just ignore it.
And yes real life girlfriends are more fun, I doubt anyone would argue against that (aside from being in jest). You didn't need to point that out lol.

People want their characters to look nice. OP was checking through gear for the upcoming Glamour system. She noticed something was off, so she informed the people in charge. They have a huge team, divided into smaller teams. Tweaking a vertex shouldn't be a huge waste of resources. And as someone who had a minor issue in their character model for the first few months, I appreciate that the team actually does take the time and effort to make sure we're happy with how we look.

1. I am not a guy.
2. I reported it because I've been waiting forever for the vanity system and I didn't to walk around with a giant chunk of flesh missing from characters leg.
I prefer real dolls to virtual dolls TYVM.

ew, it might be a bug for all races then...

1. I *am* a guy.
2. It's not a chunk of flesh. It's a tiny wrinkle that can't even be seen unless the camera lens is practically smooshed into it or if it is circled on a picture (can't believe nobody on this tread pointed that out yet.)
3. Yes, it irks me that anyone would judge based on how something or someone looks alone. Looks are a nice bonus but certainly not something that defines. I would take an "ugly" car that works over a "beautiful" car that doesn't any day of the week. I would choose to be with an insightful, empathetic and strong woman rather than a [censored] in a heartbeat. It's personal pet peeve of mine. One that I don't expect anyone else to share.
Player
....ok that wasn't fair of me.
In retrospect, if fixing this glitch doesn't hinder the progress of improvements of the functions of the game, then I guess I can't really complain. Interests in a single (good) video game among many players are multifaceted. I felt the urge to voice what I thought was an egregious order of priorities on Square Enix's part. I apologize if I came across as snide toward the concerns of other players.
Don't worry Darki, fixing this glitch won't hinder SE in dealing with RMT etc because it would be the graphical departments job to fix this.![]()

I realize this is a small step, but it really does feel like a huge victory. Thank you Team for your efforts and hard work. I will continue to support you in the only two ways I can!

I am a winner, even though I sometimes fail.
