Ppl are giving too much crap about this aetheryte ticket. So what if it's turn out to be 1 time use only ticket? It's not like earning gil are that hard (hint: TH).
As for me, I'm keeping it positive that it'll enable us to tele free, permanently.

Is that really a "positive?" I mean, gil sinks exist for a reason...

Though I'd like to think there was more to this than a free tele at 500gil max, I don't think so. Note on the lodestone where it's visible, it SPECIFICALLY says it is "consumed upon use." If it were like the other items--use once to activate permanently--I doubt it would specify.
