I am fine with them removing the toggle as long as they just move it to the action bar, perhaps on the opposite side of where the battle regimens button is. When it glows green, AoE is on, when there is no glowage, no AoE.

In the most FF games, -ra and -aga are for stronger spells, not aoe spells
example:
cura = cure 2
curaga = cure 3

Back to the roots, let the spells be single/aoe switchable

Didn't that trend only start with FF8?In the most FF games, -ra and -aga are for stronger spells, not aoe spells

I don't care for any of it anymore as I don't play mindless hurrdurr DoM but they really need to change the values so you can't just get away with spamming AoE heals.
Nah, that's right. In FFIV you can AoE Cure, Cura, Curaga and Curaja simply by selecting every teammate by pressing the opposite direction of your characters while casting. Same goes with offensive skills like Fire, Thunder, and so on.
Now, I'd like to see how Yoshi thinked about how doing this without the AoE toggle. I'm quite curious =)
yahoo! thumbs up for the future removal of AOE toggle, it shouldn't even be here in the first place.
They must really be streamlining the spells list for THM and CON.
I hope by removing the toggle they're actually keeping it but making it lest noticeable somewhere else. I can't believe people actually complained about this.
Great SE , i'm really happy you gonna remove the AoE toggle. /cheer
TBA
People will find anything to complain about, I just wish the community team would learn how to say "no" to the stupid complaints.
