Teaser of the next FFXIV Race[Spoilers]

I can't help but feel people are getting too excited over this stuff.

Well the hope is that FFXIV is introducing a new race gradually.

For example; -----

2.2 > New Race Seeks Asylum in Eorzea for w/e reason.

2.3 > New Race is accepted, tensions rise as good/bad responses cause problems. (Racial Hatred, Unsuirity, Insecurities, Problems that the new race bring (and or what follows them).

Expansion > [ Final Reveal, Story and Implementation. "Fitting into the new society"

Rather than just dropping it Day 1 of the expansion.

HERES A NEW AREA, FLOODS OF NEW ANIMAL PEOPLE THROUGH THE GATES!

Maybe they are going with the demonic/dragon type character with horns. Which I think would be more interesting then bunny girls.

What actually bothers me the most, is knowing that the new race won't be revealed during patch 2.2 lol. I'm sure that she will be introduced as a npc but will keep her face covered. Only to be revealed in a later patch . So we'll be left guessing for a few more months /sigh

The Viera was only an example. They can still bring another mammalian demi-beastmen as another race.

Q: On the upper left hand corner of the white board, "Female Highlander", "Male Miqo'te", "Female Roegadyn" and "Must Have". Does this mean that new races could be added?

A: It's more like something we must have in the game and it's a meeting log from when we were talking about adding them as soon as possible. After we calculate the cost, we will first add the things that are must have. After that, we would like to move on to introducing other races such as Demi Human and Dragons.
