So... Osaad is the next continent we shall visit in the next expansion? I can't shake the feel what they are showing is teasing the new expansion that is soon to come. ( Very possible they can show it off at E3 2014).

Oh and the voice acting is back ( there was none in 2.1) .

Yes they are, but what continent isn't under Garland influence? But I understand why we wouldn't go there in terms of the description now.

New race would be interesting, but I am not getting my hopes up.
(Also, I am secretly hoping that any new races added would be a bit less... humanoid).

I would like to visit Orthard at some point, but before that I'd like to roam around Ishgard and Ala Mhigo!

In this patch yes. They come to us. But Starlord's keyword was expansion. Which could be a possibility. Visiting Doma that is.

Yeah, I can see that. Idk though. My guess is that by introducing the people of Doma as refugees, they get to bring in far eastern classes/jobs (ala Ala Mihgan refugees bringing the knowledge of mnks etc.) without pulling them out of thin air lore-wise. Maybe even allowing the Doma refugees to build a norg-like outpost. If I had to put money on it, I would hope that the expansion opens up Ala Mihgo, Ishgard and maybe the capital of the Garlean Empire. Once that's done/the empire is reformed/defeated, I see them opening up the city-states that would be rebuilding/recovering from Garlean rule.
