But it goes both ways. There are a lot of people who bring up valid complaints, and are shouted down with that same attitude. It's not "complaints" that are the problem, it's a prominent attitude on BOTH sides that deems anything else an invalid criticism. Some of the "positive" types are the most negative people on the board (not saying you specifically, just in general!), responding to criticism in a negative fashion of their own. Not to pick on WiiSam here, but this topic is a fine example of approaching the problem of negativity... in a negative, self-defeating fashion (and I only bring that up to illustrate the point, not to add to the pessimism!).

Negativity is not the sole dominion of the "critics", and we'll NEVER change attitudes until we accept that both sides have things to learn.

I'm not sure why you think I was being negative. I feel as if I tried to deliver my message in the most respectful manner while simalteneously trying to defeat trolls and treating them too, who don't deserve it, with respect. It no way was I being negative. I am simply requesting that people stop the negativity and started this thread with hopes to change people's minds about being negative. That will not only help our community be a little more progressive but it will also stress the producers outa little less and we may actually get what we want.
