    Spoke with some of the dev. team today to ask about this for you guys. Along with the elimination of physical levels, they agree that the importance of leveling up will change, as perhaps should the visualization of that achievement. They said they'll be changing many animations as part of a step by step overhaul, so they'll be looking into making changes to the rank up animation/fanfare at that time.

    Hm, I think every 5 rank-ups should give fireworks, same the entries on the official Lodestone achievment-site after every 5 rank-ups for every job-classes.

    Yeah, rank up animation is too boring. Take a hint from Diablo III. Their level up animation is awesome.

    I'm stricken with flashbacks and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) of the Beta 3 period when this was instituted... The horror.... The Horror!! The FF Fanfare theme playing non-stop everytime someone in the zone leveled up!! The first 1-3 notes constantly playing before a restart!! Please make sure that bug is fixed Q_Q It makes me scared....

    ♪(d-d-d-d) (b~f)♫ (c~e)♫ Wait... Someone else leveled, it must start from the Beginning!!! ♪D... D... D... 15 more people? d-d-... d... d...


    For 3 days after, all I could hear was the fanfare... Of course, once people spread out to other areas, it wasn't so bad, but still... Let's keep the fanfare more tame than in Beta...
