    Simple question for you; who should have the most convenience; the player who sunk time into leveling crafts, or the player who didn't?

    Mender NPCs charge a pittance compared to the amount of Gil one can easily earn daily. If you don't use crafts, repairs are as simple as talking to a NPC. Self repairs on the other hand (using my Scholar as an example);
    1. Switch to Alchemist.
    2. Hit repair.
    3. Select Main Hand/Off Hand.
    4. Repair book.
    5. Switch to Weaver.
    6. Hit repair.
    7. Select Head/Body/Hands.
    8. Repair Head/Body.
    9. Select Waist/Legs/Feet.
    10. Repair Legs.
    11. Switch to Leatherworker.
    12. Hit repair.
    13. Select Head/Body/Hands.
    14. Repair Hands.
    15. Select Waist/Legs/Feet.
    16. Repair Waist/Feet.
    17. Switch to Goldsmithing.
    18. Hit repair.
    19. Select Neck/Ears.
    20. Repair Neck/Ears.
    21. Select Wrists/Rings.
    22. Repair Wrists/Rings.
    23. Switch to Scholar.
    24. Wait for Recasts.
    25. Resummon Fairy.
    26. Reuse Aetherflow.

    Are you honestly telling me that is fine compared to say;

    Stay on Scholar. Open Character Menu. Select any gear I'm wearing that needs to be repaired, or hit Repair All, and done. No need to switch Class. No need to waste any amount of time. Potential to do it in dungeons which would be a massive boon itself.

    It is honestly bad enough that mender NPCs already charged based on condition. The whole thing is backwards. People who put time into crafting go through more hoops to repair, they have to reach a certain threshold on condition for self repairs to even be superior. It's a ridiculously badly implemented system.
