i love the constant war between forum trolls, horrible people posting nasty stuff and forum crusaders. it keeps the forum alive and fun to read. Not enough nasty comments atm tho.
Most of all, it shows that there are nice people around.

Omg this thread again.
What i love about this game?
I love how it is designed to reach level 1-50 is 2 days, where upon reaching 50, a paladin does know voke, a healer doesn't know Shrouds and a Bard does know what is a song.
Goodbye, Final Fantasy...
It's a truism in all MMOs .. those who enjoy them are playing in-game, not whining in-forums.Looking through the threads day after day it seems like there is just so much negativity about this game being posted. Ya its got problems just like any other mmo but we all keep subs going for a reason right? So I ask you... what's one thing YOU love about the game? I love that you don't lose xp when you die. Nothing was more frustrating in xi than getting a level after hours of grinding only to lose it on someone else's mistake.
being with a full party in a dungeon or in an instance 5-10 mins after logging in -
that's one thing i love about this game.
I loved that they made such an in-depth crafting system.
I loved that they made such interesting zones.
I loved that they gave us a materia system.
I loved that we can cross-class skills.
Is it wrong that my perceived negativity comes from the fact that the crafting system I love, has no use in the game? That the interesting zones don't serve any purpose other than as a lobby? That the materia system has a fraction of the versatility and power that it could? That cross-class skills have been greatly limited and could be so much more? *shrug*
Everyone thought paid retainers and fantasia would be the end of it.
You were warned.
Cash shop in, TrystWildkey out.
I don't view this as negativity. You see how great the ideas were/are and don't dismiss them entirely as SE/FFXIV sucking or worthless implementation. When FF7 introduced materia I loved the system. I was so excited to see it in arr but as you point out above it has a fraction of the versatility and power that it could (which would require crafting playing more of a role than it currently does). I'd love to see primals or NM dropping rare materia that can be melded to tome armor.*snip*
