How does auto-attack initiated (strange fact)

i dont think you need to be locked onto the target , targeted possibly but you wont start hitting
the mob until you are close enough. (using FFXI's auto-attack as refrence now)

if you ever played the leve: 'Levinshower", at the end of it there are two elementals they are close to each. I might hit any one targeted even if I don't intend to do so because I can control my auto-attack. "most people only kill 1 elemental" So that might be annoying.

you missed my point, people can kill these stupid elementals easily. However, they can't control their auto-attack in a better way.
