DEV Team Please adjust ilvl requirement for The Lost City of Amdapor. Pharos all over

If you're a seasoned 50 player I have one thing to tell you. Party Finder.

If you're complaining about being party via roulette or df is your own personal problem. I fail to see how it's SE fault.


My opinion on you OP and others like you...stop whining.

Ok Party Finder? Good luck trying to get in your not even close to full ilvl90. Everyone better get use to that if your not full ilvl90 you better hurry up cause that's going to be the new standard come 2.2. Just like AK/WP use to be Relic+1 only. But you can always make your own party so you should be ok.

I didn't make the thread to me like "Oh raise ilvl requirement so we can just faceroll it" no! Nukocafe said it the best...

Let's put this in perspective:

Reasons why Ilvl is NOT ok:

• Seasoned playes will not deal with undergeared players & kick them out of the dungeons or ragequit forcin the party to fall apart
• Fresh 50 players will not actually be able to complete the content because of the above & therefore wasting everyone's and their own time
• Assuming that since the ilvl is so low, the drop rewards will be low and just like with Pharos, nobody will want to do the dungeon & drop out immediately upon encountering it in the roulette
• The dungeon in general will become a breeding ground for harrassment and everyone will generally have a bad time

If the Lost City Turns out to be like Pharos Sirius no one is going to run the dungeon, That is unless the new Tomestones drop here. Then players will be forced to do this dungeon and guess what when players are forced to do something they don't want to do it turns into what Nukocafe said. Everyone will want to Speed Run the dungeon and in doing so if you don't have certain gear people will complain, I've seen tanks do it in places "Oh you don't have full DarkLight leave". It's going to be AK/WP/Praet all over again.

We don't even have confirmation if Lost City will drop the New Tomes. But if it does we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

That's where the balance comes in though. Say SE only allowed I75 into AK. For bad players that would still be a challenge. Good players it would be faceroll easy. So at I55 it would at least give the skilled players a challenge and the poor players something to work up to.

And if the unskilled ungeared player is the tank or healer? Only thing I guess to hope for is the DPS can kill fast enough to make up for their lack of skill of a healer or tank.
