Unlikely as they've repeatedly said they want you to do dungeons to get higher ilevel gear. They're not going to give it away free with seals.

I stand by my statement. You'll get more ranks when they raise the cap. There are actually more ranks that we don't have access to than we do. You can see all the unavailable ranks if you click on your own rank in the character screen.

Not necessarily the current level of the Junior Officer items is 50, that is true. But the lower ranks have gear for all types of classes, DoW, DoM, DPS, Tank, exc. The Junior Officer rank only has very generic gear, more vanity then anything really. I could see gear added, at level 50 also, but more specialized. It is possible I think as we also have two ranks to go before breaking the JR officer set, namely 1st Lieutenant and Captain.

Who knows, maybe that Chocobo Respec everyone wants will be a Captain Rank item.

They actually said the opposite. New jobs/classes will be released in patches, separate from the level cap raise that will come in expansions.
