she come from Doma: SAM is confirmed!

Cyan Garamonde is a playable character in Final Fantasy VI. He is a Samurai and one of the finest and most noble soldiers of the kingdom of Doma.

This is correct, though he has explicitly stated a single "Job" will arrive in a patch before expansion.

=> if we get a new job before exp it will most likely be a2nd job for an existing classe

First of all, we are planning a new race for an expansion pack. For the classes and jobs, we will introduce them through patches because all of the Legacy players have level 50 jobs anyway. When we introduce new classes and jobs we will probably increase the level cap at the same time.

You know, I remember some people claiming (and I think they backed it up with a citation...) that Ishgard would be the first expansion, but now I'm a bit doubtful... Doma would appear to be the location for the expansion, with Yugiri being the new race. That's certainly odd since Ala Mhigo would have been the obvious location for the first expansion... Starting to get why all the Ala Mhigo NPCs complain about being forgotten, they have been... Ishgard and Ala Mhigo are on the official site already though, Doma however is just getting its first mention...

Because Merlwyb is a Musketeer since 2011.
It's not new that her weapons are guns.

You know, at the end of the Goldsmith questline a paladin draws a gun. Since I have seen this it is an obvious hint that a gun using Job will be a Gladiator Job............

I recall, awhile back yoshi stated that he might have Ala Mhigo introduced through a live event. similar to how the 7th umbral era was in 1.0. (like, we'd do quests to take it back i'd imagine.)

I would love it if that was still the plan.

I understand it that the Yugiri come to Eorzea as refugees (because Eorzea is the last land that is not part of the empire), not that we go to Doma
