Musketeer in Through the Maelstrom Patch or Huge Tease?

Seriously guys. They're not going to add a new class every other patch. Yoshi's said that Musketeer will likely be one of the first classes added after the launch of 2.0, but that probably just means in the first expansion pack. There will probably be another class or two as well, and hopefully a handful of jobs, but now would be exceptionally early. Also, Merlwyb always has her gun and we already know why she'd specifically be featured in this patch. This is way beyond reaching.

Yoshi suggested Musketeer as the first class, he also explicitly promised one JOB (specifically) before the expansion, which would be in an update. I imagine this is the basis by which people are getting excited.

Also doesn't Merlwyb's gun look different and more boring than that? Is she getting an upgrade? I thought she sported a bland silver twin barrel.

They have stated in the past that they wanted to bring multiple Jobs and Classes into the game over the course of regular patches. XPacs were reserved for introduction of new races. Only releasing a single Job before an xpac would be a major letdown.
