The one whose fire casts are largely determined by his HP? How's about. . .I dunno, saving your cooldowns or slowing dps leading into the last stretch (and not spawning fire patches early on the way) then popping CDs and LB? Just a crazy idea. . .

That, and I'm really wondering if his fire cast can be interrupted. I mean, I'd like to think someone would have commented on that by now somewhere, but I'm really losing faith in this forum's ability to make strategies. . .

Me and 3 others from my FC tried it with the minimum ilvl. It is doable but only if everyone know their class.
In a normal week I run a few Haukke HM for myth after doing those other things, I never look at peoples gear, I don´t really care. Sometimes you will get a pug dps in ilvl80+ that can't dps, sometimes you get someone in ilvl50 that do top dps. Fact is, if a player know their class they will do enough dps making the minimum ilvl enough to clear it.

Cleared 3 times in a row with low dps - none of the adds burned down fast - no DPS limit break.
Lady Amandine reaching half health only.
    Saved by Tank limit break.
Sacrifice a player (or 2) to fatal allure.
    Boss dead after 3rd AOE.
Done - its not clean but was pretty normal when dungeon first came out.

Imho... the 'impossible' is without tank limit break to survive through Amandine in the case of being minimum geared.
But usually the DPS blows it the moment Amandine spawns so no choice to wipe after right...

Perhaps instead of focusing on the minimum ilvl there are 2 other dungeons that drop ilvl 55 gear and give you tomes of both kinds. Combinations of darklight and af2 gear should suffice.

Just because you are minimum ilvl doesn't mean you should get entry to Haukke or copperbell and the minimum should be raised a bit for those 2. Maybe 55 to be a bit safe.

By all means if you want a strategy make one yourself.

Part of the dps handicap is healers not helping dps adds. Need to make them aware of it. If someone can\\'t survive a fireball ape in last phase healer can stoneskin or adlo them to give them a buffer in damage taken.

Caster dps can time a physick after the air hits, melee dps have second wind, and tanks have CDs to mitigate damage.

Healers have aoe heals and hots to help get back up to speed. The fight isn\\'t hard but requires some level of common sense.

I've seen nothing in Copperbell that requires fast dps,
Last boss will be a wipe if you take too long. You'll run out of rocks to feed the sandworm with.

I48 is a not tad low for this dungeon.

If a dungeon drops i55 gear, then the lower ilevel (i45) minimum would be appropriate. Maybe a little lower in case someone has one slot they just cannot find an upgrade to (i43).

If a dungeon (such as Haukke Manor HM) drops i60 gear, then i50 would be an appropriate minimum to get in. Again, lower that a little in case there's one slot that someone just cannot find an upgrade to (i47).

An appropriate gear level for a dungeon is a range. That range extends to fully geared from the previous dungeon, down to the dungeon level below that. Since the next immediate lower dungeon ilevel drops are i55, and right below that (Aurum Vale) is in the high i40's, i48 is entirely reasonable for the gear.

Whether the dungeon is well tuned to it is another question. And, there's always the Pharos Sirius method of tying stuff to mob HP, making it harder when you attempt to just burn the boss as fast as possible.

When's the last time you were in any danger of running out of rocks?

When the healer would overfeed the abyss worm. Not exactly a lack of DPS issue there though

I stand by my original comment, then. First boss's mechanics are HP% based, and last boss has plenty of rocks to use as long as people aren't sloppy. Neither is a hard dps check.
