This was because the nature of the game was changing.
As far as I know In order to get the gold trophy on the PS3/PS4 you will need to get all achievements I don't see them making any current achievements impossible to get.
I like frog

Most lodestone profiles seem to have their achievement page disabled anyway? Or is it that you can only look at people's achievements after you have friended them? Either way, who will really know if you got the achievement or not?
I mean, you will know but not really sure why it would matter if you are the only one that knows. It's like a Illuminati Olympics! :P

Sorry Kimura410, everyone can have anything handed to them in this game. There is no lasting rewards for the player who managed to down the more difficult content.
Edit: I think it would be cool if you could only make progress on the achievement if you remove the echo buff and had an average item level of 90.

Yeah unless they pull a WoW and drastically alter stuff in previous patches/expansions we should not ever be faced with "disappearing achievements". At most they would just alter them like they have in the past![]()

To get gold on PS3 you just need to get the other trophies (obviously). That being said you don't need to get all the achievements. For instance, the PS3 has 1 PvP trophy... it is "participate in one PvP match".
Others include getting all of your crafting classes and gathering classes, getting to lvl 10 or 15 or something and then A) making 1,000 things on each crafting class, and B) Gathering 1,000 things as a gathering class.
The rest are just quest, FATE, and leve related. (finish main, do 1000, turn in 1000)

Hardly needing 'everything' just rather time consuming.
And that my friends is what we in the business call a typographical error. But while we are on the subject of nitpicking a video game forums thread, the word "careess", that you used, is not a word.

I don't care!; I don't care to the maximum amount, and it is, therefore, impossible to care any less. (The affirmative version does not make sense, but is widely used, nonetheless.) : So you're late. I couldn't care less.
And if you dont think its not a big deal (what he said at the start), then you dont care.
You should probably ask SE to make a statue for you showing you downed T5 pre-2.2.

After re-reading my post I new this was coming lol. I was like damn somebody is going to mention that it has already been nerfed once. And honestly, thats pretty true. I guess nobody but BG deserves the achievement if we are going by my original post's mentality. You're absolutely right. At the very least, anyone who did it without outside help such as youtube videos, should probably be entitled to it just because it's still a very tough fight if you are figuring out the strategies on your own, which would lock the wide majority of us who downed it out. It could be argued that the fight itself is a bit of luck due to RNG anyways, so the world first kill could have possibly taken longer, or earlier to clear, depending on where Twin decided to shoot her LHs or who got targeted by twisters etc. Still, I stand corrected and thats a good point.Games rarely lock out achievements unless they are seasonal events... Sorry mate, but just because not everyone has a static that can co-operate properly to down Twin doesn't mean achievements should be locked, and a lot more groups unfortunately have been shut down by the RNG not giving them drops to help make the fight that much smoother (Coil BiS items, etc) Brag all y'all want about beating an 'un-nerfed' Twin, but remember... If you didn't do it before the Twister fix, you should be locked out from the cheevo too
