The Binds That Tie Achievement in 2.2?

Will this achievement still be available when the echo buff becomes available in 2.2? Not a huge deal or anything, I just think it would be cool for SE to lock it out in order to show the players that downed Twin pre nerf. You could argue that players could do it without the buff, but then they could farm all the higher gear coming in 2.2 and go in with full ilvl 100/110/120 (w/e it raises to), which would give an advantage to those attempting it after 2.2 that we don't have at this point in time.

Again, let me stress, not a big deal, just curious I guess. I see people upset about their gear becoming obsolete, which is something I really could care less about, but I think our hard work and skill should be preserved at least in an achievement form.

I doubt they make any achievements unavailable. However you can see from the Lodestone when people got their achievements and access to new Coil zones.

They won't remove it. The achievement is for beating turn 5, not beating turn 5 before a specific patch.

So you say a few times that is "isn't a big deal" but then you go on to say you could care less about it? Which is it? Those are 2 contradictory statements.

I just downed T5 tonight with my FC (finally, and thank god we did it before the nerf) so since I'm feeling all victorious, high and mighty right now, I would love that achievement to be available to those who did it before the nerf. However, nerfing content when new content comes out will always happen, so I highly doubt they'll let us have an achievement to ourselves. Are the achievements dated? Like, does it say when it was rewarded? If so, that can be our bragging point :P

Games rarely lock out achievements unless they are seasonal events... Sorry mate, but just because not everyone has a static that can co-operate properly to down Twin doesn't mean achievements should be locked, and a lot more groups unfortunately have been shut down by the RNG not giving them drops to help make the fight that much smoother (Coil BiS items, etc) Brag all y'all want about beating an 'un-nerfed' Twin, but remember... If you didn't do it before the Twister fix, you should be locked out from the cheevo too

They made plenty of achievements unavailable if you didn't notice. With this specifically they might change it to include the newer turns, but they already have precedence on moving old achievements.

No, "couldn't care less" means the same as the first thing he said. If he COULD care less than he obviously cares enough that it is possible to careess. If he COULDN'T care less it means his level of caring couldn't possibly go any lower.
