"Glamours!"

uh.. vanity system? same patch, right?
If you weren't in an instance you could just switch to a socialising vanity set of your choice. Glamour will re-template your gear.

Right, I got that. I mean that your vanity look would revert to it's base equipment look in an instance, and then revert back when you are out of it again. ie you won't be able to show off your vanity/glamour set in a dungeon run or what not. Although I can't seem to find the interview/info about the limitations of it. Ah well I guess we'll all hear about it soon enough. ^-^

What she's saying is that your idea would defeat the purpose of glamours, considering the majority of PvE content revolves around instanced areas.Right, I got that. It's not my idea. Nor do I like it. I was trying to recall if that's what Yoshia mentioned in a interview.
My idea would be just have an extra tab called "vanity" on your character window that you can drag/drop equipment in. If a slot is empty in your vanity tab, then it would just look like what you have in your normal equipment tab. There would also be an option to toggle the entire set. Easy and simple. No, random atuning equipment to crystals stuff they plan on doing. :X
