For those whom has problem dodging Weight of Lands in Extreme Mode, have Titan on Focus target. The AOE animation appear shortly after Titan started casting Weight of Land. By watching his cast bar, you have better chance to dodge WoL.

I just anticipate the plumes. He always does them after a stomp, and I just count

Stomp Stomp Stomp Stomp 1 2 Plume (Count the 1 and 2 at the same speed of his stomps and you won't get hit)

It can be done on PS3. We have had healers on PS3 win that fight. But they do have to train extra hard.

The problem is you're a healer. Can't just scrap a healer off the floor like you can a dps. Such is life and titan. Just have to get really good at memorization. There are some tricks to it (such as knowing when to pre-sprint)

The fact still stems you're a healer. It's just triple-ly bad, because if you die, you're likely the cause of the wipe. One death is a weakness (with which you won't survive phases) and having no MP making you as good as dead even after a revive. Hard to recover from unlike a dps.

Nope, sorry, ps3 is not a limitation here. I play wirelessly on a stock ps3 and can dodge perfectly. I have dozens of clears as dps tank and healer. There is no combat role on any fight that a ps3 player can't excel at.

It is either your connection to the internet, or the connection between your brain and your hand (aka you're currently bad and need to improve.) there are guides for how to set up battle ping and the such to affect ps3 out there, I suggest googling them.

most ppl struggle cause they are watching the plume or landslide animation, but if u actually watch the casting bar from titan it gets pretty easy to dogde them. (action bar full and u are still at the edge of plumes = dead even if they explode after the bar is full)(u are out of plumes before action bar is full? gj u learned dodging them)

Wired connection PS3 with HD SSD runs as smooth as a PC almost. People need to stop using the ps3 as an excuse for their terrible playing.

Depending on how understanding your group is, you can also suggest the line-up method of dodging the plumes as opposed to the stacking method. If everyone stacks in a line behind Titan, they only have to move left or right to dodge their plumes. Though it may not matter since you're a WHM, but I find that dodging your own personal plume is much more easy to do and more forgiving if you don't dodge it. The stacked plumes OHKO almost everyone and I have a feeling that latency is seperate for each plume. Just observations from a really bad DF Titan EX run, but I have a feeling that everyone is handling the plumes incorrectly. LOL

I also play on a stock Slim PS3 on a wireless connection and have Titan on farm, so your set up shouldn't be what's holding you back. Though I DO suggest possibly resetting your internet connection beforehand just in case.

If you're playing with good latency - plumes and landslide dodging becomes a complete and absolute non-issue. Those people are the the ones saying Titan X is easy and galloping around cockily on their Nightmares.

Using WTFast in Australia and occasionally will lag spike and get clipped even when well clear, but otherwise more success than fail atm. Sorry PS3 users you aren't catered for in this regard :/
Those with not so good latency just have to do it tougher than the rest unfortunately. SE do not care about those players, they are just happy to take the money. It's your call in the end - keep trying or don't.
That being said, I would not like to see Titan X get nerfed like everything else has been for people who complain over every petty thing. Some level 50 dungeons are for toddlers now.
If somehow a latency fix could be applied by SE, then great.

This. I know OP was on PS3 so there is not much they can do about hardware, but if your on PC and having trouble with plumes try turning your settings down to the absolute minimum and see if that helps. I run a 660 Ti and an i5 and have never ever had a problem with plumes at max, but I do know other people in my static lower there settings just for this one fight.
