Will more housing instances open up anytime soon?

Maybe a rep can answer this, but are there any plans to open up more housing instances anytime soon? We are saving for a FC house and it looks like the market is starting to move and people are buying plots.

We should have enough money to afford the medium house we wanted within a few weeks, however the plots we were interested in buying are starting to be claimed and we may lose out on the spots we wanted entirely.

Basically, we want to know if we should sit on our money and wait for a little longer or if we should just start looking into deciding on some backup plots.

Our CL is currently gathering money and we're willing to buy a Medium plot in Myst, but they're already almost all sold. Maybe the modifications on small houses will drive people to those small plot, but at the moment it looks like most of CL are buying large/medium plot...

not any soon, while you and most of ppl want to buy medium and large house, there are alot of small house remain untouch, and as long as those house still remain untouch, there will be no new ward.

Imo, it is always a good idea to looking for backup house. Each area should have at least 3 to 4 decent house loaction for small & medium.

Hey Estellios, we found ourselves in much of the same predicament, but we kept pushing and we finally got the funds needed for buying a house.

My suggestion is that you guys try to get as much green money from the game as possible because it's hard to really sell things, though it doesn't hurt to try. There are still some two-star items selling and even some furniture too, so if you can make that, it'd help.

But you may want to try spamming a dungeon, getting 8 people to do like 6 crafting leves and pooling your money together, and running Map parties and pool all the money you get from that together. You could get 100k from maps and something close to 100K from those crafting leves, so that's 200k. And if you feel up to it, keep running the first area of AK a bunch of times. You'll get like 5K per run if everyone pools their money in. If my math is correct (In which it's usually wrong), you'll get 100K after 20 little runs of AK for like 8 to 10 minutes a run.

not just AK, there are other materials for housing item that might sell well like : Fine wax in haukke manor low lvl or Carnivours seedling from AV, and AK chest before Demon Wall also give Amdapor Stone that might sell well as well, check your server market board, and tomes mats should sell well in every server

Keep check on Odin and Behemoth & try to get a gold from them is also a good boost of gil, but the item sell is rare

If new housing wards are opened, it remains to be seen whether SE will stick with the current policy (price them high and let them reduce by 50% over 90 days) or change that policy in some way. Currently the prices are very near their half-price value (57%).

I think starting high is still okay, there are still FCs that have the money and will to pay for the prettier or just more convenient locations, but the price reductions need to be a lot faster and steeper, maybe over the course of a month instead of three.

Hello, everyone.

We do in fact have plans to add more land in the future, but I cannot promise a specific time frame at the moment.

Also, currently as of patch 2.2, houses will remain intact regardless of whether a free company is active or inactive. However, in the future, in addition to adding land, after patch 2.3 we’ll also be looking into adding a feature so when free company members haven't accessed their house for 35 days (Earth time), their house and land will be automatically forfeit in order to free up the land. We'll also be looking into a system that will display the remaining time until this happens.
