The tanking shortage reasons

Play as DPS -- No one thinks you're important. If you die a lot someone might throw a "DPS dodge!" your way.
Play as Healer -- Love all day, even if you stood there and did nothing 80% of the time.
Play as Tank -- "PULL MORE." "PULL LESS" "WHY U DYING SO MUCH?" "#$*#!" "U GOTTA MARK MOBS!"

This is pretty much why I've gotten to a point where I just don't do roulette or df anything on my PLD. Even though I'm comfy with the job and it's decently geared at i80ish and zenith, and I'm quite familiar with every dungeon in the game, I've seen this kind of attitude leveled at tanks way too many times. And even though it hasn't happened to me personally on the rare occasion that I do tank a DF, the pressure to be perfect for people I don't know just takes all the fun outta the job for me.

So now I only tank for my friends and fc/ls mates when they need it and I do my roulettes on dps or heals. ^^; I dunno if there are others like me, but that's the reason why my tank is shelved as far as DF and DR are concerned.
