When you create a setting, you set your own boundaries. You can't just randomly slap in anything you want. That cheapens and weakens the strength of the world.

Eorzea is most similar to the world in FF6. Medieval setting with European Renaissance/Baroque/Rococo/Art Nuevo flourish and influence. With a villainous empire of technophiles against natural order. Spira is based on South Pacific culture, style and mythology with a mix of contemporary fashion and culture.
