To Blue Garter and Who is really Hardcore on endgame content

I think the reason behind Blue Garter posting the video of Twintania's first kill was because of other people exploiting a bug and killing her that way. Because of that they had to post a solid proof that they didn't take advantage of any issues withing the game to overcome the challenge, hence the video so early. Apart from that I think that it's in the HC Free company's interest not to share strategies right away since everybody else is gonna mimic their way 2 minutes after.
Fair enough you're kind and willing to share your experience but we've got enough baby sitting in this game as it is now with the sell runs etc.

At the end of the day it all depends on how hard will the new content actually be anyway, if it's extremely challenging for newcomers like Turn 5 then keep your strategy a secret until a big number of FCs complete it as well and then share them and try to keep on improving etc.

Any reply that goes against doing fights without videos imo is an example of either a weak-minded person or someone who advocates others to have weak minds. Why you would want to "accomplish" something without truly thinking is disturbing to me.

After a couple weeks, everyone is already following guides. If you or your group isn't smart enough to decipher the fight without instruction, you don't deserve to win. My opinion.

Some of us have full time jobs and don't have time to sit for a week figuring a fight out. IN case you didn't see Blue Garter requires their members to take vacation days off work to play for 12 hours a day to figure out new content. Sorry but I'd rather take my vacation to visit a foreign country instead.

Game walkthroughts have been around for two decades (?) already. I'm not going to defend or attack them but I will state the obvious: guides are not for you if you don't wanna/need guides. Some people simply CBA to learn anything, even in a video game. They will tell you they have a life, can't waste their rare free time learning tactics or simply don't wanna have to teach you from zero. Sorry but the state of this game should be enough to make anybody understand that you can't set the bar too high or else people will threat to leave, therefore making guides such a "necessity" for the great majority of this community.

Except I have a full time job + OT and I find plenty of time to play. Hell, I could be playing now. No one told you to sit for a week straight. If the time you have to log on and try just so happens to take you a month to win, so be it. But with the whole "gimme win, gimme gear now" mentality, no one is willing to just try something for long periods of time. They rush the content to win then cry "where's more content?!".

Except having that "necessity" ruins the whole point of trying to design a difficult fight. If SE wanted the fights to be easy, they would've made the fight easy from the jump and not with a difficulty that one feels they can't beat it without a guide. Therefore this statement...

Is flawed. SE tried to make a game that occasionally hits one with hardcore elements and difficulty, people just choose otherwise.

while i empathize with the OP and sometimes i do enjoy figuring something out for myself i watch strategy guides before hand is so that i dont go into a fight blind and so that im not a huge liability to the rest of my team

i was unaware this game had any hardcore end game its all easy guide or no guide.
