Thanks to everyones advice I just got my first 2 commendations, granted I went through the first dungeon but no one was criticizing me and overall I think I did what I was supposed to. Also having a keyboard plugged in doesn't mess with controller right I'm just getting the hang of this and don't want to learn controls on keyboard.

Keyboard/mouse UI is not supported on PS3, it's for chatting. It should have no effect on your gamepad controls.

I feel you man...i myself a ps3 user too, its going to take awhile before getting used to typing with the virtual keyboard.

My advice is to watch videos online to learn how other tanks are pulling or maintaining aggro. Once you reached end game raid, you probably need some sort of voice communication like ts3.

Also try to read some guide on setting up macros as it will be useful especially for ps3 users.

There is a setting under character configuration called auto-chat or something simliar that will automatically put anything you type into the chat window, so you don't have to worry about selecting it before typing.
