I'm ok with the idea of Leviathan dropping ilvl90 weapons - IF they sneak in an upgrade for the Relic weapons this patch, since they're meant to scale.

While true, they ARE following the:

New Patch > New Gear > Old Gear gets excommunicated route basically.

Thanksfully this is only true for the top-of-the-elite content available. As new things come out, maybe some welcome nerfs will happen (I'd be happy with only a 0.5 longer cast on plumes tbh. Actual timer is just a joke as you can't react to it like the lanslides, the only option is to know what is coming at the exact second it's coming). I'd hate to be locked forever out of the content just because of such a bad designed fight.

When my connection is fine, I have no issues with plumes even if I don't react at the exact moment they start. Granted, I live closer to Montreal than most players, and I'm sure I'd have issues if I had 100+ ping like players on west coast USA or in Europe. The only mechanic I really dislike is the knock-off crap. Someone lag spikes and bam, out for the rest of the fight. I hope Leviathan doesn't use that design, but... well, we've all seen the screenshots.

You should try the free version of Pingzapper for Titan, though. It helps a lot of people.

Leviathan should drop the new top level weapons, this game doesn't need another King Moogle.

I am thinking his weapons should be at least ilvl 105-110 for the extreme mode, with coil 9 dropping 120-125 weapons. Should be above 95 because we already got allagen weapons that are 95 and really don't want more content that is obsolete before its out.

I think they will be stronger then allegan because Yoshi said in the last live letter that he will be harder then 2.1 fights require higher item level because he will drop very powerful weapons.

Omg no! Shield and scepter ? I HATE shield and scepter, the pose is so retarded ! Even if it'll be BiS I will not equip it, no wait I will not even loot that stuff ! As a WHM I absolutely can not stand to walk around without a staff!

Hopefully those Water Ball rotate around the boss. Make it harder to dodge. Dont know what to say exactly but it seems to be useless post with no real info to share thats new... blah blah complete this new main story quest to access this content blah blah not showing you the stats of the items or item level or all the designs.

Leviathan should be tied to relic upgrades on Extreme, that would be rad

Thinking the new equipment will be least item level 125. Why? Just needs to be large gap again like with il50->il95 where devs can add hardest content and keep it worth while until next 2 patches. Gaps will be filled with next patch with new dungeons & hardmode dungeons. So expect relics toget upgrade to 120 & new allagan weapons at 125. Levathian weapons will probably be something like il95 or il100. Can expect new Myth Materials be for il90 equipment. Probably have new Relic Quest that requires you to clear coil 1 or Levathian on your job to raise it to il100/110 then request 900 new allagan pts for il120 upgrade.

Next content- Crystal tower for il100 gear, 2 HM dungeons, 1 new dungeon and new content feature and basically this is how its gonna repeat itself.

Can expect this content cycle to repeat itself until Crystal Tower is done, Coil is done and all well known Primals of FF series are covered.
Dont expect this content cycle to be done until 2016.

Lol i hope that pic of the scepter and shield is for the whm cuz if so yayyyyy it gives me more reasons to tank as a whm now lol,
But if thats for the blm and whm gets a 2 handed wep again..... Damn.

It is WHM, you can tell by the stance, but if you think you can tank with a buckler, it gives me the idea you have no idea how shields work. Which if you're trying to tank with a WHM in the first place...
