Not letting me roll "Need" on Coil Loot

I just finished T2 and out of the 2 drops there were Allagan Earrings of Striking and being the only physical DPS (DRG) in the group I was sure to nab them, but for some stupid reason it's telling me that the Earrings of Striking "aren't suitable to your current class/job".... errmm WHAT?! I already have Darklight Earrings of STRIKING, and it's telling me I can't roll NEED on the Allagan Earrings of STRIKING?! WTF?

So because of this I've lost out on the Allagan Earrings to someone who rolled Greed instead of me actually Need'ing them... thanks SE.

Striking items are for monks. Maiming is for dragoons.

As for you having darklight of striking; maiming actually would.have benefitted your job more.

They both have EXACTLY the same stats just with Crit Rate and Accuracy in switched positions... and to be honest I'd take +3 Crit on my DRG any day of the week and I haven't had a problem with Accuracy seeing as I have all Striking Accessories which are supposedly "Not suitable for my Class/Job"

Because they all thought I was going to get it being the only physical DPS in the party, one of them even messaged me after we left saying sorry for Greed'ing it because they all thought I was going to "Need" it anyway, but because SE thinks my DRG would rather have more useless Accuracy than Crit Rate I couldn't.

Why did they even "greed" if they thought you had "need"ed?
Also, did you not say anything after you saw you couldn't press "need"?
Any "greed"ers could have left the instance before you pressed "greed" to make sure you got it instead.

OP, MAIMING is for DRG. STRIKING is for MNK

Now do you understand? ONLY Monks can NEED roll on Striking gear. It's not SEs fault that you expected different.
