He should get the myth pants. The difference between Zenith and Elder is fairly negligible, but the difference between CT pants and myth pants are not.Yes, but I'm trying to convince him getting Zenith is a better use of myth tomes. The only piece he needs to upgrade is legs, he's got DL robe & gloves, CT belt and shoes, and Astral accessories. However, he still has AF1 pants, so all of the pieces are a significant upgrade. CT pants are free and I figured the determination boost would be more significant than the crit, especially in light of saving for zenith.
I'd agree wholeheartedly, assuming he can kill all the primals. I assume somebody worrying about whether they want Zenith on their main job isn't doing primals yet.
Got my belt and pants ^^. Full ilvl90 BiS Crit & Det now. I just need the neck from twin and I will have every ilvl90 drop possible for BLM ^^. It took me such a long time, 6 months almost. I really hope the new crafting gear does not just trash my ilvl90 for T6+.
In any case I wanted to pump the thread up to the front page, this thread should never leave it ^^.

Sorry I miss-read your post and the previous posts.
I thought you were saying the Relic +1 (Zenith) was 100% better than the Elder Staff and was wondering why you thought so. xD

So i have a question and would like to hear some opinions.
I got my allagan weapon, so now im overflooding of ACC.
Is it worth trade vortex ring over ultima ring? Is +10 crit, +2 det better then 2 int?
In Puro's guide, he states that 1 DET is about .2 INT, and that in real-world (depending on RNG) scenarios, DET, CRT, and SSPD have about the same weight. Using that as a reference, we can assume that 12 secondary points equal about 2.4 INT, so Ultima's Ring should come out on top when you don't need the accuracy from Garuda's ring.
I'm in a similar situation with my DRG, I have too much accuracy with my current gear, so I use Onion belt and Ultima's neck, even though I have ilvl90 pieces for those slots.
