People are going to want proof that you came from IT/networking/telecommunications background/industry. So get ready to supply it or they're just going to say

    "OMG STOP COMPLAINING"

I highly doubt they will share what all went wrong, if they do good job on making them talk. Not in any sarcastic way or anything.

It doesn't take a genius to understand that 4 days of failing is kinda serious issues somewhere thou. Personally I not with the networking department but I'm currently working for a company that is tasked by the statutory board to construct and maintain our country's fibre network infrastructure. Over here if any of the telcos had an extended service disruption say 12 hours and above, they may be fined with over USD$1m. Of course this is just an example, and I'm sure SE guys are also panicking on their end on why this is happening.

Like I said, the idea of this thread is not for complaining - and there's already a long thread for that purpose: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...minutes-notice...

Of course it would be nice if SE guys would want to share a little. They did extend to explain what caused the T2/T5 bugs and what they did to fix it which I think it's a pretty positive move from them. That's why I'm kinda curious and hoping if more can be shared. And it's more like, I'm hoping that this isn't some serious hardware issue that may cause frequent re-occurrence, and being expensive and tedious to "fix" (such as requiring hardware replacement).

Plus the fact that 2.2 is another major patch coming, with the next Live Letter scheduled in 21st March (it's found in the Japanese Lodestone, titled "just before patch 2.2" so expect 2.2 to come a few days after 21st March) which is 3 weeks from now, I think it's only natural for us to feel concerned?
