Dumbest Vote Kick Abuse

So I got vote booted from CT, apparently for lotting gear.

I entered solo as a tank, for that nice insta-queue. I'm a mediocre tank in decent gear, and the whole alliance was a mediocre group.

We stumble through two bosses, and a tank piece I was after dropped on the 2nd boss, so I hit need. Nothing has been said in party chat about lotting, and this is a cross-server PUG after all.

We take down Atamos, and as we're setting up for the bomb and people are going afk, the piece drops to me (other tank didn't roll on it). 20 seconds later I'm booted from the zone.

I look up the party members on the lodestone, and surprise surprise, at least 5 are in the same FC.

Instead of turning this into a butthurt rant, I laugh at how stupid of a move it was for them. Someone wanted to lot tank gear from a non-tank class, so they boot a tank that can't lot agains them for the next two bosses to pick up one that can. I hope the replacement tank outlotted them for some gear as well.

So you "lotted" on tank gear and he wanted to "lot" on it too?

There are a LOT of groups that thhink, rules they had in "pf" apply still when they join a DF or are replacing members.

When I solo queue I did not sign any "party" contract to anything, If I need or want something I WILL lot on it.

I got kicked once for skipping a group of mobs in stone vigil because the other guy wanted the xp.

You should take this opportunity to do either 1 of 2 things:

1. Report them for harassment/unfair use of the vote feature or whichever system applies in this case.
2. Send a /tell to the guy who wanted the piece you got and let him know how well it fits and how good the piece is, them blist him.

I know which one I would do

Was it the tank body armor that drop in CT you lot on? Because i have seen players fight for that even in duty finder.

This is why I'm not running CT anymore, 4/5 CT I join got full alliance trolls

I agree that is pretty stupid.

You know what also sucks? Running CT 7 times in a row on Monday trying to get the tank chest piece, and accidentally clicking "Greed" on the Archer belt because the PS3 direction controls makes you select "Need and "Greed" before you get to click "Pass". Thereby locking you out of CT for another week.

Happened to me on Monday. I've barely even logged in since.

we booted a healer because he wanted to rush our xp run. it was all pug, but 3 against 1 decided we wanted xp. i told him he didn't have to stay, but he said he'd stay and just not heal. so, we booted him and had an FC member in-progress join our run.

we kicked them not because they werent wanting to do an xp run, but because they chose to no longer cooperate because we wanted to do an xp run. if you were a tank, they probably felt the same way as we did about that healer.
